With the ability to connect to people of any age group, culture, or background, evangelist Ken Freeman lives with a passion to bring people to know Christ and to make a deeper, more intimate, commitment to Him.

Ken has been blessed with a beautiful wife, Debbie, two beautiful children, and eight beautiful grandchildren.  He has a passion for his ministry and he’s had an enormous amount of opportunities to do what he loves most, lead people to Christ.  All of this being said, it’s important to note, Ken’s life has not always been this way.

The son of an alcoholic mother and an absentee father, Ken’s life was filled with abuse and neglect.  Often times he and his sister would be left for days while his mother satisfied her addiction to alcohol and possible other drugs.  Other times she’d leave them with a boyfriend who would physically and sexually abuse them.  There were times he thought about suicide.  Other times he thought about murder.  His life seemed out of control.  Ken spent his life running, trying to survive.  He was bitter, hurt, and alone.

Despite a horrifying childhood, Ken defied all odds with one choice that would change his life forever, his decision to accept Jesus Christ as his personal Lord and Savior.  With that one choice Ken’s years of mental and physical abuse turned from a useless mess, to a powerful message.

God has blessed Ken as he has been in the ministry for over 30 years, serving as a youth leader for about 12 years  , and an evangelist for well over 25 years.   He has seen over 200,000 decisions for Christ, one of which was his own father, been in over 3000 churches, written two books, and built a ministry around this one choice to accept Christ.

Ken has traveled throughout the United States and into Canada to tell people about the Living God who has the power to transform lives.  He speaks at churches, revivals, conventions, conferences, and retreats of all kinds.  He even speaks in public schools, encouraging students not to give into peer pressure and to live a life that makes a difference.  One principal commented, “Our kids have never behaved so well during an assembly.  They had a good time, but when he got down to it, you could have heard a pin drop.”

Ken’s approach to evangelism allows him to grab the attention of his audience through humor and his down to earth personality.  His message, then, is always delivered in a fresh, easy to understand manner that roots itself in God’s word.  Ken’s ability to be versatile allows him to communicate well in any setting, traditional or contemporary, school auditorium or church staff meeting, a large convention or an intimate retreat.

One thing is certain; God has given Ken a passion for the lost and the brokenhearted that is evident within his ministry and his everyday life.

Ken travels the country to tell people about the love of Jesus and about how they can come to know Him, and then how they can get to know Him better.  It's his passion.  Despite your event, God's given Ken the ability to adapt well to people of different backgrounds, age groups, and circumstances.  He's willing to speak in virtually any setting in order to share his passion with others.

Plan your next retreat to be inspiring, rejuvenating, and powerful with Ken as your speaker.  Retreats are designed to strengthen the body of Christ and challenge the saved.  This is not to say, however, that people cannot be saved in this setting.  Having experience with several different types of retreats, Ken is sure to relate to any crowd.

- Couples Retreat

A couples retreat is a great opportunity for married couples to get away from it all, work on strengthening their marriages, and make certain that God is their number one focus.  Ken will speak to couples regarding a Biblical marriage, as well as addressing issues that affect married couples today.  Some couples leave saved, others leave refreshed, and everyone leaves knowing more about their partner and their creator.

- Men's Retreat

Whether it be strictly a men's retreat or a Father/Son retreat, Ken designs his men's retreat to encourage men to be heroes in the faith and to step up to the plate in their everyday lives.  Today, 38 million children have no idea where their biological father resides.  19 million have never met their biological father.  For this reason, Ken finds it vital that men step up and own their responsibility as Biblical leaders.  Ken will help encourage and build up this type of leadership through the use of scripture and personal experience.

- College Retreat

College can be a rough time with many students just leaving home for the first time and being exposed to parties, sororities and fraternities, and professors who push students to abandon their faith and follow false teachings.  Ken urges students to own their faith and find out why they believe what they believe.  Students leave these retreats refreshed and renewed and are encouraged to expose themselves daily to God's Word and to make themselves a part of an on-campus ministry.

- Single's Retreat

A single's retreat is designed to speak to people of many backgrounds.  Maybe a single-parent who is recently divorced, or a widowed young woman who lost her husband at war, or maybe to that person who has just never found “the one”.  Regardless the situation, Ken has the ability to reach into their world.  Ken preaches comfort to these as he describes the single-life as the Bible does, as a gift from God. He encourages those attending to live a life with God as their focus and strength, using their gifts and abilities to enhance His Kingdom, and to trust God to guide their relationships.

Revival / Crusade:

If you plan to call your next event a revival, be ready to allow God

to show up in big ways.  Ken's revivals and crusades typically are four days long, beginning on a Sunday and ending on a Wednesday, though they can be planned to meet your needs and your schedule.

Revivals and crusades can be sponsored by one church or organization or can be sponsored by a collaboration of churches and organizations.

Revivals and crusades are great events to bring lost friends to, as they are designed to see lost people saved.  However, these events are also rejuvenating for the Christian due to the powerful messages and the ability to witness others come to know Christ.

Ken also enjoys speaking to school assemblies, church staffs, organizations, and church groups while in town for your event.

Conference / Convention:

Whether you're planning a conference for youth or a convention for pastors, Ken has the ability to lead people into the truth of God's word, allow them to gain a better understanding of scripture, and give them an opportunity to be rejuvenated and refreshed.

Ken has previously spoken for the Southern Baptist Convention, for pastor's conventions in Oklahoma, Louisiana, Missouri, and several other states, as well as conventions organized solely for Pastors and Staff of a specific church.

Speaking at camps for 30 years and Wild Week Camps for 12, Ken has ample experience speaking to people of all age groups in a camp setting.  Ken would love to speak at your next camp, whether it be a spring break camp, a winter camp, or an FCA Camp.  He would love to meet with your group!

No time to plan your own camp?  Join Ken's next Wild Week Camp, aimed for youth grades 7 through 12.  Youth will be able to experience powerful messages, in-depth classes, anointed worship, and an unbelievable recreation time.

What We Believe
About God…

God is the Creator and Ruler of the universe. He eternally exists in three distinct persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit (commonly known as the Trinity). These three are co-equal and are one God. (Genesis 1:1,26,27, 3:22; Psalm 90:2; Matthew 28:19; 2 Corinthians 13:14; 1 Peter 1:2)

About Jesus Christ…

Jesus Christ is the Son of God. He is co-equal with the Father. Jesus lived a sinless human life and offered Himself as the perfect sacrifice for the sins of all people by dying on a cross. He arose from the dead after three days to demonstrate His power over sin and death. He ascended to heaven's glory and will return again someday to earth to reign as King of Kings and Lord of Lords. (Isaiah 9:6; Matthew 1:22, 23; John 1:1-5; 14:10-30; Acts 1:9-11; Romans 1:3, 4; 6:6; 7:4-6; 8:1-4; 1 Corinthians 15:3, 4; 1 Timothy 6:14, 15; Titus 2:13; Hebrews 4:14, 15)

About the Holy Spirit…

The Holy Spirit is co-equal with the Father and the Son of God. He is present in the world to make men aware of their need for Jesus Christ. He also lives in every Christian from the moment of salvation. He provides the Christian with power for living, understanding of spiritual truth, and guidance in doing what is right. He gives every believer spiritual gifts when they are saved. Christians are to yield to and trust the Holy Spirit to enable them to live holy, loving, and productive lives that bear much fruit and glorify God. (John 16:7-13, 14:16,17; Acts 1:8; 1 Corinthians 2:12, 3:16; 2 Corinthians 3:17; Galatians 5:25; Ephesians 1:13; 5:18)

About the Bible…

The Bible is God's Word to us. It was written by human authors under the supernatural guidance of the Holy Spirit. It is the supreme source of truth for Christian beliefs and living. Because it is inspired by God, it is the truth without any mixture of error. (Psalm 119:105, 160, 12:6; Proverbs 30:5; 2 Timothy 3:16; 1:13; 2 Peter 1:20, 21)

About People…

People are made in the spiritual image of God and are to be like Him in character. People are the supreme object of God's creation. Although every person has tremendous potential for good, they are all marred by an attitude of disobedience toward God and His word called "sin". This sin has separated mankind from God. (Genesis 1:27; Psalm 8:3-6; Isaiah 53:6a; 59:1,2; Romans 3:23)

About Salvation…

Salvation is God's free gift to us but we must accept it. We can never make up for our sin by self-improvement or good works. Only by trusting in Jesus Christ as God's offer of forgiveness can anyone be saved from sin's penalty. When we turn from our sin and turn to Jesus in faith we are saved. Eternal life begins the moment one receives Jesus Christ into his life by faith. We are saved from hell to be with Jesus forever in Heaven. (John 14:6, 1:12; Romans 5:1; 6:23; Galatians 3:26; Ephesians 2:8, 9; Titus 3:5)

About Baptism…

Baptism is immersing a willing Christian under water in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. It is an act of obedience that identifies a person with Jesus Christ. (Matthew 28:19-20; Mark 1:9; Acts 8:36-39; 18:8)

About Repentance…

Repentance is turning from your sins. There are several lists of sins against God in the New Testament. (Matthew 5:7, Romans 1, 12:14, I Corinthians 6, Galatians 5, Ephesians 4:6, Colossians 3, 1 Thessalonians 5, I Timothy 3, and James)

About Eternal Security…

Because God gives us eternal life through Jesus Christ, the true believer is secure in that salvation for eternity. If you have been genuinely saved, you cannot lose it. Salvation is maintained by the grace and power of God, not by the selfeffort of the Christian. It is the grace and power of God that gives us this security. We don't think a person can lose his or her salvation. Salvation is a gift based on the work of Jesus Christ, not our own. (John 10:29; 2 Timothy 1:12; Hebrews 7:25, 10:10, 14; 1 Peter 1:3-5)

About Eternity…

People were created to exist forever. We will either exist eternally separated from God by sin, or we will exist eternally with God through forgiveness and salvation. To be eternally separated from God is hell. To be eternally in union with Him is eternal life. Heaven and hell are real places of eternal existence. (Matthew 25:31-46; John 3:16; 14:17; Romans 6:23; 8:17-18; 1 Corinthians 2:7-9; Revelation 20:15)

About Spiritual Gifts…

Spiritual Gifts are special abilities the Holy Spirit gives whenever, wherever, and to whomever He wants. These gifts always glorify Jesus and build up the church. We let the Spirit be in charge of His gifts. (Acts 2, Romans 12, 1 Corinthians 12:14, Ephesians 4)

About the Priesthood of Every Believer…

The Bible teaches that every Christian is called to full-time Christian living, regardless of his or her vocation. We practice the truth that every believer is a minister by encouraging every member to find a place of service and ministry. Every believer has direct access to God through prayer and Bible reading. (1 Peter 2:5, Revelation 1:6)

About Spirit-led Living…

We believe the only way to live the Christian life is by trusting in God's Spirit within us. We seek to practice a daily dependence not on ourselves, but on Christ with us to enable us to live holy, loving, and productive lives that bear much fruit and glorify God! (Ephesians 5:18; Philippians 2:13) Jesus said, "I am the Vine, you are the branches. If you abide in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; but apart from me you can do nothing." -John 15:5

About Telling Others About Christ…

It is the privilege of every Christian to share the Good News with those whom God brings into our lives. We share our personal experience about Christ and invite friends to church. "Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have."-1 Peter 3:15
